ENTRY & CLOSING DATE:
Entry in this tournament is open to all Skagit Valley USBC
Association members. Non-members
of this association may enter by paying an associate membership fee of:
National $10.00, Local $6.00,
State $1.00 =$17.00. Subject
to lane availability, squad entries will close one hour prior to the start
of each squad. A 10-minute
warm-up will precede each event. Tournament
directors will assign lanes. In
singles and doubles events, bowlers will bowl one event on a pair of lanes
and then change lanes. No Refunds once squad begins.
EVENTS:
Handicapped 5 person
team; doubles; singles; Optional Handicapped All Events
ENTERING
AVERAGES: Entrants will use their
highest certified 2009-10 winter league average of 21 games or more.
If no winter average a 2010 summer league average may be used,
provided they have bowled 21 games or more.
If no previous season average, an entrant shall use the highest
current average for 21 games or more, as of January 1, 2011.
It is the responsibility of the individual bowler or team captain
to furnish the appropriate standing sheet from the league and/or leagues
to verify current high average. An
entrant who does not meet any of these requirements shall be classified at
a 230 average in each event.
HANDICAP:
Will be 100% of 230.
ENTRY FEE:
Entry fee will be $21.00 per bowler per event.
Cost Breakdown: Lineage
- $8.00; Tournament Expense - $3.50; Prize Fund - $9.50. PRIZE
FUND: Prize ratio in team, doubles and singles will be 1 for 6. All
events will be a $3.00 additional fee with prize ratio 1 for 15. First
place awards for each event.
All prize fees
collected for each event and division of that event will be returned 100%.
SCRATCH SINGLES SIDE-POT:
$10.00 entry fee. Bowler
must place entry at tournament desk and use the handicap singles event
score to establish position in the scratch singles side-pot prize list.

collected for this event will be returned 100%.
MULTIPLE PARTICIPATION:
Team:
Members may bowl more than once in the team event.
Any five (5) members may form a team.
No more than three (3)
members on a five (5) member team shall bowl together more than once.
Doubles:
Members may bowl doubles twice with the same partner, but cash only
once; or, may bowl and cash as many
times as partner are changed.
Singles:
Members may bowl singles as many times as they wish, but cash only
once.
ALL EVENTS:
$3.00 additional fee.
There will be one handicapped division with prize money being
paid on a handicapped basis. First
team/doubles/singles events scores will be used for all events.
USBC Rule 319d and 319e are waived for this tournament.
All other rules will be based
on the 2010-12 USBC Rule Book
