Entry
in this tournament is open to all United States Bowling Congress (
Bowlers
without a current membership card may establish eligibility by applying
for 2.
Doubles
will be in three divisions: (1) two men, (2) mixed (one man and one woman,
or (3) two women. Bowlers, 50
years of age or over, the mixed division, may enter with their spouse,
regardless of the age of the spouse. Singles
will be in two divisions: (1)
Men, (2) Women. Each singles
division will be in two classes. Class
A includes bowlers 65 years of age and over; class B includes those
bowlers 50 thru 64 years of age. Date
for determining classifications is time of first participation. 3.
Bowlers
may bowl singles more than once, but only cash once.
Bowlers may bowl doubles as many times as they change partners. 4.
Entry
fee will be $21.00 per bowler per event, broken down as follows:
Lineage $8.00, expenses $4.00, prize fund $9.00.
Prize fee will be returned 100% in each event or division of an
event. Prize ratio payout will
be one for seven entries. 5.
Handicap
will be 100% of 230 scratch per bowler, per event, using the three-game
handicap chart. 6. Bowlers will use their highest USBC certified league yearbook or association average based on a minimum of 21 games or more for the 2009-10 winter season. If no averages last year use highest USBC certified league average, 21 games or more, as of January 1, 2011 (written verification by your league secretary must be provided, prior to bowling). If you do not have a qualifying average, you may use your highest certified Summer 2010 League average (21 games or more). All others bowl scratch. SPORT League averages must be report to the Tournament Director, for adjustment using the USBC recommended scale (2010-12 USBC Playing Rules). If you have both a sport league average and a regular average, your highest average must be used. Bowlers must show verification of average through a) submission of an annual yearbook, or b) local association secretary’s signature. 7.
USBC rules 319a-2; 319b and 319d shall not
apply in this tournament. 8.
Closing
dates for entries, subject to lane availability, will be 30 minutes prior
to the start of the last squad. Entries
for each squad, subject to lane availability, will close 30 minutes prior
to the scheduled start of that squad. 9.
Cash
awards will be awarded. Champions
in each event shall have their entry fee paid to next year’s Pacific
Northwest Seniors tournament for 2012. 10.
Entry
